1894 .44-40 OCTAGON RIFLE MADE 1907, here's one that needs a little help to be brought back to looking the way it should, through some bad storage the barrel and mag had some very very light rust that was wiped off with an oily rag leaving the metal gray with some aged blue mixing, exc. markings, amazingly the case colors and blue on the loading gate and bolt of the right side are vivid as is the top of the receiver and even on the upper tang, the left side has vivid color in the rear third and...someone using an "electric pencil" engraved their social security number on the front part- it is light and would rub out easily, bottom of the receiver shows good color, original sights, exc. sharp bore, exc. wood, some light restoration would greatly improve the looks and value in this one!
