Description:
A beautiful cased pair of  English MUFF or POCKET pistols with "pop-out" triggers in excellent condition. They are marked #2 and #3.  .38 caliber with 1 & 3/4"  screw off barrels and an overall length of 5".They are nickel plated with lots of engraving. The hammers, triggers ( pop out type) and screws are blued.  The stocks are finely checkered walnut with fancy nickel plated butt caps and  unmarked escutcheon plates in the grip area for an owners initials or family crest The triggers are the type that Are flush to the underside of the pistol and "pop out" when the hammers are cocked. .The wood appears unmarked and close to 100% in condition. . It is estimated that they were made in the 1830's.The case and liner are also in very good condition.  The case label has been professionally reproduced from the damaged original which will be included in the sale. The case lock does not work but there is a key for it, along with: a barrel wrench, powder flask made (and marked) by "Sykes",) lead round ball shot, a bullet mold marked "84", and  a round tin probably for percussion caps but containing some balls and small pellets. This is a complete set and in beautiful condition. The hammers and triggers all work as designed. These pistols have seen little if any use. #3 has a pinched cap, barely noticeable. The small flask alone is worth  $400- to $500-, they are hard to find.

A NO interest payment plan is available . Terms are flexible.
There will be a shipping charge.

This is an antique so no FFL is required. It can be sent directly to a new owner (where the law permits)
