#3797 Colt Lightning 38, 3.5” barrel, Blue
This is a Colt Lightning with a rolled panel barrel. It is a blue gun with 35% blue remaining and it has very good and tight mechanical function. The bore is about very good with strong rifling but does show some very fine corrosion. The serial number is all matching numbers and is 77757. It was made in 1890. The grips have a flat spot of ware at the lower grip swell and the checkering is flat in some spots. This could be a good cowboy shooter with proper loads.
