SALE PENDING A fine and exquisite Sako L46 Riihimaki sporting rifle chambered in 222 Rem. made circa 1957 or 58. This beautiful Sako remains in 99%+ condition and could be unfired. This is one of the highest condition Riihimaki's i have ever encountered. The original high polish blue on the action and barrel is simply stunning in every respect. The original 100/200 meter peep sight is present also. The beautiful blonde stock is flawless with its original sling swivels and Sako butt plate. There is no noticeable wear to be seen. There are no import marks as was common on the early Riihimaki's. The varnish on the stock is pristine with no evidence of spider webbing. In my opinion, these were the most beautiful bolt action production rifles ever built with a solid reputation for also being the most accurate. A Sako L46 Riihimaki worthy of an advanced collection.
