Description:
This is a Winchester 1894 Carbine in .25-35 Winchester Center Fire. The serial number indicates a manufacture date of 1914. The receiver shows good patina with little of the original finish remaining but only minor pitting. The 20 inch barrel shows Good blue with some handling marks apparent. The full length magazine tube is in the same condition as the barrel with a few dings on the left side near the fore end. Wood is in Good to Very Good condition, and the factory steel butt plate is still present. The rear sight has been removed and the dovetail plugged. The current sights are a Marble's tang sight and the factory brass bead.
