Here is a very interesting Pre-war Cape or Combination Gun in 12 / 8 x 58 RS. The gun was made in the "white" by Greifelt and finished by Manufrance (Manufacture Francaise D'Armes de St. Etienne). As such the gun has both French and German Proof Marks. Engraved with scroll, vines and a fox on each lock plate. Rebounding hammers. Elegant lever style forend fastening system. Double underbite with rib extension. The Brettelle automatic leather retractable sling is complete and fully functional. Barrels re 27 1/2" - both mirror bores. Rifle barrel has strong lands and groves. Shotgun barrel is 2 1/2" (65 CM) as original with full choke (45/1000). Nitro proof on both barrels. Included are 20 cartridges loaded with 25 grains of 3031 with 175 GRM bullet (.318). Gun is tight on face with no loose ribs. A very cool gun! Shipping is $40.
