Description:
The 1901 lever action shotgun was an improved version of the famed Winchester 1887 lever action shot gun. 1901 only came in 10 ga. This one has a 32" bbl and full choke. As stated, high condition and it surely is! Nearly all original blue remains on the metal. Some very light freckling on the bottom of the mag tube. Not even wear at the carry point. On the inside is a bright shiny bore. Wood matches the rest of the gun being exceptional. One scratch on the right side and a couple of handling marks but no cracks or losses. Very good fit. There is a couple of very light chips at the Widow's Peak at the top of the stock. The only slight blemish on this gun. It is obvious this gun was rarely used. An exceptional 1901 Winchester!
