What a great find we have here...a 52 year old Belgian Browning A-5 Light 20ga. sn4Z88306 made in 1964 that is as new, just no box. It has not been altered since leaving the factory with its 28" vent rib barrel retaining mirror bore, Modified choke, 99.5% factory metal and wood finish, 14 1/2" LOP to the factory butt plate, clear sharp engraving, still has the friction ring and instructions inside the forend wood, no splits, cracks, or repairs anywhere, perfect screws, just the way you like to find them. It has been shot, but not many times judging by its condition. The round knob stock with long tang trigger guard is highly desirable and 28" vent rib barrel scores high in the desirability department as well. Weighing just 6 3/4lbs. it is fast to shoulder and easy to carry. These are investment quality guns, especially in this kind of condition, and this gun is being offered at a very attractive price. Don't confuse this gun with the later guns made after 1965 that may have salt wood, short tangs, or square knob pistol grip stocks. The pre-1966 guns are more desirable and valuable.
