Description:
REDUCED: Another fine “ESTATE” firearm offered by Dust 2 Dollars. We offer you a “Gorgeous” Browning Safari Rifle that was manufactured in 1962 and is “NIB” New In the Original Box. This is one of those guns you hear about and never get a chance to own. Fresh from the current estate we are working with this gun has it all. It was found in the original shipping box that Browning used. The outer cardboard box has a piece of paper taped on stating Special Order for Fred Clarke, and a small paper tag with the price of $158.00 which in 1962 was a lot of money! The original shipping label from Browning to Malmstorm AFB Exchange is still on the box. The Safari rifle is chambered in 300 H&H (Holland & Holland). The gun was never fired and has been sitting for the last 53 plus years. The box itself is in excellent condition to say the least, since it had the outer shipping box to protect it all these years. The gun was checked and IS NOT SALT WOOD! There are two small marks in the finish where the bolt was slid into the receiver at some time. The rest of the gun is in “MINT” condition and it is that simple. There are no other marks, scuff or any distractions on the rifle. This is as close you will get to buying one new off the shelf people! $2,895 plus $80 shipping to your FFL. 3% convenience fee added to the total for CC payments. All firearms come with a 3-day inspection from D2D’s. Dust 2 Dollars offers layaway, email us for details.
