Description:
Here we have an ultra rare L.C. Smith Double Trap Grade in 10 gauge. According to the letter from L.C. Smith Collectors Association, this gun was made in September 13, 1918 and shipped on Feb. 3, 1919 to E.S Applegate & Co, Trenton NJ. Marked on the right barrel "L.C. Smith Trap Grade". Crown fluid steel barrels 30 inches long. According to the L.C. Smith letter, total production of 10 gauge trap guns was 12, 2 of which had 30 inch barrels. Retains 95% original blue on the barrels, with perfect bores. Chokes are both full. Wood is nice with lots of grain, has a Hawkins recoil pad, could very well have been installed at factory, no signs of having been installed after. Has single selective trigger, auto ejectors. There is some of the colors showing yet on the frame. Engraving is nice, absolutely no changes to the gun, 100% original. L.O.P. is 13 inches from trigger to butt pad.
