Description:
A fine looking American Trench Knife from WWI. This LF&C trench/knuckle knife features a 9” triangular spike blade, wooden handle and wrap around knuckle guard. Top of guard is marked “US/LF&C/1917” Pommel and guard have 7 studs. Wooden handle is not marked. Scabbard is an original “JEWELL 1918” marked green leather body with metal tip and throat. Tip and throat are both marked with inspectors initials “MS” Blade retains most of it's blue/black finish with a few light scattered dings and nicks to the edges. A fine example ready for your collection.
