Original British Flintlock Sea Service Pistol C. 1805
For sale is this wonderful original flintlock British Sea Service pistol--sometimes called "The Trafalgar Pistol" , in its original flint condition. The English walnut stock is complete and in nice condition but for one 1/2" sqare chip half way up the barrel left side--hardly noticeable. The original flint barrel in .58 cal smooth bore in in almost very fine condition with a bore that will improve with light cleaning. All flint battery parts appear to be original to the gun and the internals are almost new looking in condition with a nice smooth action and lock up. There are multiple small military inspection marks thru out and the barrel exhibits 2 broad arrows nose to nose at the breech end showing it had been pulled from service. The brass wears a nice mellow mustard patina with no signs of abuse.This gun is not the typical gun show wreck and will be a great addition to your collection and a great conversation piece.
