The nicely refinished stock, 13-1/2" LOP, has nice checkering, an ebony forend tip, Decelerator recoil pad, one steel recoil crossbolt, and has been discreetly glass bedded. The complete action has been nicely reblued; the bolt matches the receiver. The factory Winchester 375 H&H barrel has been rechambered to 375 Weatherby and retains it's original finish and has a bit of finish wear near the muzzle as pictured. The gun has proper Headspace and nicely fire forms 375 H&H ammunition in 375 Weatherby. There is a Marble's Folding Leaf Sight on the original base and a Galazan's repro front sight hood on the original front sight and ramp. About the only unaltered parts in their original finish is the trigger; i.e. the stock is refinished with a pad added, the complete action is reblued, and the barrel although in original finish has been rechambered. There is ZERO collector value here other than being a good solid piece of pre 64 Winchester model 70 hunting rifle. I am a small time collector / user and will not be taking any returns on this gun.
