The EIG Italian 4 Shot boot pistol, which was made in Italy in 1966 (XXII) and imported to the U.S.A. prior to 1968, has a unique four barrel, four shot, double action design. This gun, sometimes referred to as a derringer-style pistol, is chambered in .22 caliber and will accept Short, Long, and Long Rifle (LR) ammunition. My understanding is that older .22 calibers are meant for standard velocity rounds and not high velocity for safety and accuracy. The synthetic cream colored grips have some light scratches but there is no rust or pitting on the chrome. The pistol is in very good condition. This rare and vintage weapon is perfect for the avid collector. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Manufacturer: Imported by EIG of Miami, FL. Made in Italy.
