SALE PENDING BUT WE HAVE OTHER FINE RIFLES. WE WILL CONTINUE TO SHOW THIS LITTLE BEAUTY UNTIL MONEY ARRIVES. Here is a gorgeous Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless rifle chambered in 300 Winchester Magnum with Leupold style silver rings and bases. There is no scope with this rifle nor is there a box or paperwork. This is a wonderful looking firearm and the walnut stock has the Fleur-de-lis style pattern checkering and Schnable forend which I believe is indicative of the Classic Featherweight model. It is in 99% condition wood and metal. I do not see any marks on it. Has a 24-inch barrel and the rifle is marked as a New Haven, CT made gun. Red rubber butt pad says "Winchester... Winchester Trademarks Licensed from Olin Corp ... US Repeating Arms Company." Featuring a full-length claw extractor, receiver mounted ejector, coned breech and controlled round feeding (CRF), the Classic has the look, feel, and function of its revered forefather, the Pre-64 Model 70. There are two photos of the bolt face showing the claw extractor at the end of the photo string. A current stainless Winchester 70 being cataloged from Winchester Repeating Arms has an MSRP of $1299 so you can see what a great value this rifle is. The 300 Winchester Magnum is a great all-round chambering. You can use standard loads to take any game in North America or buy Hornady Lite Loads and Remington Reduced Recoil loads to make it appropriate for deer or if you are recoil sensitive. This is a consignment gun - no refunds unless you find something really wrong during non-firing inspection and shipping is not refunded either direction in that highly unlikely event. We have not fired it and always suggest a competent gunsmith determine it is safe and operable before shooting it. It is for sale in my shop so may end at any time but if we get ait will be pulled off the sales floor. Please refer to pics for condition, which is absolutely marvelous in my estimation.
