Master engraver Olaf Weiss has executed beautiful scroll engraving on the receiver, top of the top barrel, trigger guard, bottom of the frame and the forearm latch and hardware. The left side features a life like scene of a man and his dog in the woods, the right side shows a dog flushing a covey of quail. The left rear side plate is signed "O.Weiss".

The beautiful light tint, luxury grade, oil finish Circassian walnut has a two piece forearm and straight grip with a sweeping pattern of checkering. This gun is plete with a chocolate brown, leather, bination locking take down luggage case containing a 3 piece cleaning rod and the original Merkel box is included.
