Spencer Model 1860 Repeating Carbine, Civil War serial number range 19XXX, .52 Spencer, 7 shot magazine fed with 22” round barrel with saddle ring, military rear sight. Features standard markings with Spencer address & patent date on top of barrel. In good plus condition overall, metal surfaces show a grey & brown patina with stocks showing typical use marks throughout with the initials “J.M.S” carved into the right side of the forearm & a couple light cracks in the buttstock & a chip just above saddle ring bar. Mechanically sound with good bore. Good example of the Civil War Model 1860 Spencer Carbine.
