Purdey Best quality hammerless double rife in 500/450 3 1/4" BPE with later nitro for black cordite nitro proofing. 28" Fluid steel bbls with like new bores. Barrels have been re-blacked. One standing and one folding rear site with ivory insert. Self opening sidelock with snap action underlever that closes under spring pressure when bbls close. Original wood and finish in excell. condition. 14 5/8" lop over orig. steel butt plate. Gun has an amazing amount of orig. case colors remaining. Nearly all on the locks and about 70% on the balance of the action. Typical fine Purdey scroll with rose groupings, engraving is in excell. cond. even though my pics are poor and donot show it very well- its crisp! Vacant oval shield in stock , stalking safety. MFG in 1892 with Purdey factory letter. Cased in oak and leather with tools and access.- Newer label. Gun weighs 9#2oz. Antique. 22,500.00
