HERE IS A NICE COLLECTABLE COLT LIGHTNING RIFLE IN THE DESIREABLE 38-40 ( about same power as the 44-40). It has almost all the bright shiny blue on the barrel and mag tube and about 65-70% on the receiver. The bore is excellent and the marking clear and sharp. The action is snappy tight and positive. It has the popular ‘Hunter’ style front sight and standard rear. The fore end slide is the deluxe checkered. All of my super high grade and plain lightning shooters are gone. The is the very last collectable medium frame Lightning rifle I have and I am pricing it to sell. The only noticeable finish wear is on the upper and lower tangs which is normal for an antique of this age. Does not require any special license and can be shipped direct to your home. A great cowboy action gun or hunting gun and in a collectable condition as well. Own the legend preferred by Billy The Kid! I offer a 3 day visual non-firing inspection.
