ORNATE OTTOMAN TURKISH SILVER MOUNTED FLINTLOCK CHIEFTAIN’S PISTOL CIRCA 1780-1800. 21 ½” o/a with 15” .64 caliber Spanish form round barrel with engraved Islamic floral motifs. Repousse silver mounts and a very fine silver side plate with martial motifs. Engraved lock with touches of gilding in the design. Faceted steel trigger guard. Original walnut stock. Very good condition overall. Lock in proper working order. Fine quality and larger than usual size.
