BRILLIANT CIVIL WAR SMITH CARBINE CIRCA 1863. .50 caliber 21 ½” barrel. Early and scarce American Arms Company production serial numbered in the 1,2xx range and all matching and original. Has nearly all the original blue and case colors with only slight patination. Excellent markings and perfect working order. Mint bore. Stock and forend with the original finish. Stock wrist stamped with an Inspector’s initial “B” on the right wrist and “G.P.” on the right wrist. Barrel stamped with the same Inspector’s “B” at the left breech. Extra nice.
