Description:
Decent late 1940's gun, it has the earlier markings of 30 GOV'T O6 marking on the bbl. The bbl has nice blue and a couple of wear spots and scratches but overall very good. Good finish on the receiver also, there is two extra holes for a Pachmayr side mount. There are also the remnants of a Lyman receiver mount. These would be mounted in the original holes, the other alteration to the gun is a Pachmayr buttpad. Has sling swivels. This could be the basis of a very fine hunting rifle. Very fairly priced.
