High Standard Sentinel, MK IV, Cal. .22 Mag.Ser. S116XX.
The model IV is very rare, this is the all steel Sentinel previous Sentinels had aluminum frames and were lacking the full length ejector rod sheath.It is the last of the High Standard revolver line to come from Hamden, Ct. The gun is flat out gorgeous, typical of the quality that made their automatics highly collectible.d. The gun honestly appears to be unfired. The factory blue is at least 99%. The only loss is a hairline cylinder drag ring. There are no scratches, pits, or rub marks anywhere. The force cone, recoil shield, and cylinder front show no use. The walnut checkered grips are also perfect retaining 99% of the original factory lacquer. No chips, splits or flattened points. The bore, like the rest of the gun, is flawless. Razor sharp with mirror bright rifling. What a find for the High Standard collector or just a fun gun for the range or up at the camp.......$545.
