Featherweights aren't that common anyhow, and the 308 makes it even a scarcer gun. This is an early 1950's M-70. It was somebody's hunting gun, looks like it was well taken care of. Some light wear spots and scratches on the bbl. Blue is pretty much all there. Receiver finish is 90+% light freckling and spots. Not even much wear on the bolt handle or the floor plate of this gun. Whatever hunter had this gun also took good care of the bore! A few usage marks. No cracks or losses of wood. It does have the correct aluminum featherweight buttplate. Mounted on top of this is a German Kkahlps Wien scope. This is a nice hunting package!
