Description:
This .45 Auto was purchased from the DCM in Feb of 1961. Pistol was shipped from Rock Island Ordnance Depot to the DCM Purchaser. This is an original Ogden Arsenal rework WWII reissue .45 auto and so marked on right side of frame (OG). Pistol appears to be all original and untouched since leaving depot, and all in excellent overall condition. Bore & chamber are perfect. Serial range 107xxx. Even has original magazine (L Code) Little Manufacturing which is also in excellent original condition. Barrel is the correct Hi Standard and so marked. If you want a nice GI .45 auto of WWII issue then this is it. We would rate original parkerizing finish at 96-97% overall with only a bit of wear on the high spots (see photos). We have the original NRA Voucher for the pistol, along with the Ordnance Depot Bill of Lading, showing the price was $14.15 Unit Cost with Postage & Handling of $2.85 for a total price of $17.00. All original documentation goes with the pistol.
