Description:
Here's a very beautiful yet practical custom rifle package for your consideration. This fantastic set up is based upon a 1948 Win 70 action w/ custom 22" barrel in 280 Rem. I do not recall unfamiliar barrel maker but it was recognized immediately by the foremost veteran gun authority in my area years ago and declared among the best of the best. Wish I had paid closer attention. I do know the rifle is easily capable of consistent sub MOA groups with either stock. The beautifully grained custom wood stock features an elevated cheek piece, flawless borderless checkering, horn pistol grip cap, and Pachmayr Old English pad. The LOP is 13 3/4 with wood stock and slightly less with synthetic stock, around 13 5/8. The like new Leupold 3x9 Vari-x II and precisely fitted custom synthetic stock are included. Aside from some flaking on the synthetic stock aquired on 2 successful Alaska Dall sheep hunts, this rifle remains in 99% condition.
