This is a Colt Officers Model Heavy Barrel revolver in .38 Special. The serial number dates from 1951. The metal is in Good to Very Good condition with some scratches and handling marks but with no pitting visible. The bore is bright and shiny. The Colt wood grips are Good to Very good with a few dings in the checkered panels and a ding on the bottom of the left side grip at the bottom near the checkered backstrap.
