Description:
PENDING SALE-This is a like new left-hand Krieghoff double rifle chambered in 500 NE. It is obviously several grades higher then standard in wood and engraving. It shoots factory Hornady ammunition to regulation, but a load was also developed for a 450gr Cutting Edge Bullet (CEB) at higher velocity that should be optimal on Buffalo with lighter recoil.
The Krieghoff is designed with a manual cocking device which loads the firing pins into battery when moved to "Fire". This allows the rifle to be carried safely with rounds in the chambers, as the firing pins are not in position until the "safety" is moved.
This rifle has the optional HiViz fluorescent front sight, and the See Through rear sight, so the sight blade does not obstruct the sight picture. The rear of the barrel set is drilled and tapped for a sight mount, so a Ghost Ring, Peep or Dot sight can be easily mounted.
The rifle has never been hunted, and comes with the canvas Krieghoff breakdown carry case. With the wood and engraving options on this rifle, it is definitely a step above the other double rifles in this price-range, and priced well below its replacement value. It can easily be converted to RH use by Krieghoff at a nominal charge.
