PENDING SALE- This is one of the Ruger Hawkeye Alaskan rifle chambered in the great 375 Ruger caliber. This one is in stainless. The original stock was removed, and a $600+ McMillan "McWoody" stock was added. The McWoody is a sytnthetic stock, but has the appearance of fine wood. That was you get the durability of synthetic with the warmth and grain of fine walnut. The finish runs through the material; color impregnated, so it won't chip, scratch or flake off like dipped finishes.
This is a fast-handling carbine with the power of the 375 H&H. You couldn't ask for a better riufle for Alaska or African Dangerous Game hunting.
