Description:
Remington Rolling Block single shot Sporting rifle, 40-65 cal.. Restocked 26” octagon barrel and action, with case hardened frame and deluxe checkered semi-pistol grip stock. This gun is in overall very good condition showing traces of original blue finish remaining on the barrel. Marked "Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.”. Very strong rifling, with crisp action. Fore stock is checkered with poured pewter nose cap. The butt stock shows beautiful graining. Front sight is a globe and the rear sight is modern replacement.
