Made in 1987 this great little carbine, with its 20” barrel, is in 98%+ condition and appears to have only been test fired. The .348 is the ultimate brush gun for big game and in old advertising it was often shown as the perfect moose cartridge. The Model 71 itself was first made famous as the Winchester 1886 action, designed by John M Browning, that was well known for its reliability and smooth operation. It was then adapted to chamber the .348 in 1935 for the Model 71 Winchester. Nicely grained, dark walnut stock and forearm. This gun is a faithful remake of the venerable 71. In the original box with instructions. SOLD |
