Description:
This is a LeFever Nitro Special Side by Side shotgun in 20 Gauge with a 2 1/2 inch chamber. The action shows Good patina with some light pitting evident on the flats of the action and on the underside. The 28 inch barrels are both choked Full with shiny bores. The finish on the barrels is Good with plenty of blue remaining with some scratches and discoloration spots. There is some light pitting with a patch on the left side of the left barrel about 8 inches from the breach. The checkered walnut pistol grip stock shows no signs of sanding or refinishing. The butt has some damage from a rubber slip on recoil pad having been installed. The butt plate looks to be original.
