Description:
This is a colorful early S&W D.A revolver chamber for the .44 S&W cartridge with a 6 1/2" original barrel and a very good to excellent bore, no pits or corrosion, and sharp rifling. The exterior is and old nickle finish with less than 20% remaining.There are patches of very fine pits and other areas of more aggressive pitting. The gun locks up very tight, and indexes good as well as the extractor rising and falling as it should.,a very mechanical tight gun. S&W and DA both work well and this is a black powder gun only. Comes with a half moon front sight.Has what looks like original MOP grips with the left grip with grain raising. This gun could tell a story or two!
