SOLD PENDING FUNDS:For Sale: Colt 2nd issue Officer's Model Revolver. .38 Special X 6" barrel. This gun was manufactured in 1911 and has the Stylized C Rampant Colt logo on the left side of the frame (done on Colt's firearms from ~ 1910-1913). Grips are correct for this period and are in excellent condition. The metal is the high luster blue and exhibits handling marks and some freckling as one would expect with a 105 year old gun. Mechanics and bore are excellent with some frosting in some of the grooves of the barrel (rated 8 out of 10). I would give this an over all rating of 95%. This gun is all original and comes with a period flap holster. A great addition to any collection of Colt Target firearms.
