Description:
This Belgium 12ga hammer double has no finish, but is not rusted or abused. The 32" long barrels are choked at: MOD. and MOD. , and are chambered for the 2 3/4" shell. This is an early import, with steel barrels and most likely is for black powder ammunition, and possibly low brass. Not a slug gun, or buck shot. Action works good and the right fit]ring pin could use a strong spring as it sticks sometimes . the French walnut stock is very good with hand checkered wrist. no name on the locks but the barrel and frame have a serial number of 991. LOP with a steel burr-plate is 14 3/4". gun locks up solid and and would make a good shooter with low powered ammo. Not sure of the age , but with 2 3/4" chambering must be turn of the century.
