Description:
This 95 is a true blue antique being under 5k serial number. It is hard to find an antique 95. This one is a standard rifle in 30 US cal. A pretty good looking gun with most blue remaining on the bbl with some aging and a few spots of freckling. Surprisingly the frame also has quite a bit of blue. Especially in the scalloped area. The upper portion has some wear and browning. Inside is a pretty good bore with strong rifling. A bit dark but does not look like there is any bad pitting. Wood matches the rest of the gun being quite nice. A slight bit of shrinkage on the forearm towards the frame and a little at the toe. A decent example of an early 1895. Complete with a Winchester Letter.
