Description:
- S&W Model 10-7 RHKP Revolver
- .38 Special Caliber
- 4" Pencil barrel
- Stamped "RHKP over 1755" on backstrap. Indicates Royal Hong Kong Police revolver, imported back in the '90's.
- Originally blued, has been nickel plated. On close examination, areas of light pitting visible under nickel. Casual look only seems matte finish.
- Condition: Wood Excellent, with a few scratches. Mechanically fine, and bore and chambers Excellent. Nickel plating helps disguise the flaws from the original bluing. Front of frame at barrel junction has been filed, rounding front edge of frame. Whether to "melt" front of frame, or other reason is unknown, but this is the only area of alteration to metal, changing contour. (see photos, and black box marking affected area on each side of frame)
