- Note: This rifle remains is original factory condition, save the handling wear from 66 years of life. The percentage of original finish on the metal is conservatively over 90%. The stock finish shows some handling wear and some dulling over the years. The factory steel buttplate is still in place. The checking may have been freshened at some point, but looks excellent and the original Winchester quick-detachable swivels are still with the gun. Bore it shiny with strong lands and grooves.
