Description:
Serial #51206, .32 RF, 6" octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore. This revolver that matching assembly numbers on the frame, cylinder, and barrel and retains about 75% of the original blue, mostly on the barrel and cylinder, with a lightly cleaned gray patina on the balance. There is evidence of some light surface cleaning, most noticeably on the sides of the frame behind the recoil shield, but the edges are still crisp and sharp and there is only a very small amount of pinprick pitting present. The hammer has some bright original color case-hardening remaining with a bright patina on the sides. The barrel lock-up and function of this piece is about the best we have seen in a No.2 and it functions as it did the day it left the factory. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and have almost all of the original varnish remaining with a few minor surface blemishes on either panel.
