Description:
Serial #43313, .22 LR, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver was made in 1938 and retains about 97-98% of the original blue finish which has silvered slightly at the muzzle and exhibits a small amount of trace freckling on the right side of the frame and topstrap. Additionally, the cylinder has aged to a slightly brighter blue and has a light-moderate turn-ring at the rear. The hammer and trigger retain a commensurate amount of original blue with a few tiny specks of freckling at the tip of the hammer spur. The checkered walnut, Colt medallion grips are in excellent condition with some very mild flattening of the points and a few negligible handling marks here and there on either side. The lock-up and timing of the action are flawless and the revolver rates excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R
