Description:
Serial #CSC0147, .38 Special, 4” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This revolver retains practically all of the original blue on the barrel and cylinder with only a faint turn-ring visible. The frame, likewise, retains practically all of its original vivid Doug Turnbull color case-hardened finish and nearly all of the original S&W case-hardening on the hammer and trigger (some silvering is present along the edges and bearing surfaces). The checkered laminated wood grips are likewise in excellent, hardly used condition. The mechanism times and locks flawlessly. This is a splendid modern Smith that has an attractive and unusual finish. FFL
