This is the British service revolver of The First World War. It has all the correct British property marks. It is also dated 1917. This pistol is all matched serial numbers. The serial number is 316685. The bore and chambers are bright and clean. The action locks up tight with very little play. The grips are intact with no cracks. The bluing would rate a 97% condition. This pistol has been converted to shoot the 45 A.C.P. in half moon clips or 45 Auto Rim. This is the same ammunition that will work in the Colt and Smith & Wesson model 1917 revolvers. This makes for a very shootable pistol. The holster is dated 1942 with the Canadian Broad Arrow property mark. This pistol rig would make for a fun shooting pistol with easily available ammunition.
