Description:
This Colt is a late 1889 production pistol. The serial number is 130656. It is fitted with a 7 1/2 inch barrel. The Eagle grips are original grips. They show normal wear and use. The grips have no chips or cracks. The bore is good with good lands. The hammer is a latter replacement. The action works smoothly and all the stops and notches are good.This Colt is all matched serial numbers. The bullseye ejector rod is a latter replacement. The original finish is mostly worn with the pistol in patina finish. This serial number is in the blackpowder frame range. This is a decent old Colt that has seen frontier use. Most of these early Colt's have seen hard use. This Colt is not abused or beat up. This Colt is certainly shootable and collectable.
