Quality Consignments Wanted! This rifle was introduced in 1899 for the Japanese Imperial Military. It is chambered for the 6.5 Japanese service cartridge. The serial number is 219615. This rifle has the "MUM" partially ground off. The lettering is untouched and sharp. The bolt is mismatched. This rifle shows very strong high polish blue finish. The bore is very sharp and clean. The cleaning rod tip is missing. The action works smoothly with no issues. This is a nice early Japanese rifle that is not commonly seen by collectors. This rifle would rate 90% condition overall.
