Description:
This is a like-new Krieghoff 470 double rifle. I'm not sure if it's ever been fired; the warranty card, literature, and acessories are still in their wrappings. It is an extractor gun with 23 1/2" barrels, a 14 1/2"LOP, and weighs 10.2 lbs.
The Krieghoff is the only double rifle that can safely be carried with cartridges in the chambers. Pushing the "safety" off safe actually loads the firing pins into battery, so in safe mode there is nothing to strike the primers.
I called Krieghoff USA to determine the regulation load for this rifle. They confirmed that it was regulated with a German-made equivalent of our Hornady DGX and DGS loads, so no need for Federal or Norma ammunition at $400/box.
Included with the rifle is the Krieghoff canvas and leather breakdown case.
This rifle is being sold well below market value for a quick sale. Price is firm, plus $40 for shipping. Save about $4,000 off the retail price.
