Perazzi MT-6 Skeet 12 gauge O/U shotgun. Originally designed and built for the Montreal Olympics in 1976 the MT-6 was an innovative gun for Perazzi. It was the first Perazzi to have choke tubes and it went away from the traditional drop-out leaf spring trigger group in favor of a frame mounted coil spring trigger group, yet still built with the integrity and competition heritage of the rest of the Perazzi line of guns. The first guns had a distinctive milled horizontal stripe in the receiver and a push button fore arm release. This gun, made in 1982, is the last version with a more traditional solid blue receiver and the proven type 4 forearm release. 27 ½” vent rib barrels with 5 factory choke tubes: SK, 2 (IC), 4 (IC+), 6 (Mod) & 8 (IM) and the CT wrench. The stock has a 14 ¾” LOP over a 1 1/8” Kick EEZ pad; with the added adjustable comb in the lowest position the dimensions are 1 ½” DAC and 2 ½” DAH with neutral cast. This gun is 34 years old and yet it retains 98%+ of all of the original finishes, the bores are bright and perfect and the gun is very solid mechanically. Note the top lever is still way to the right of center! The gun weighs 7 lbs. 11 oz. Cased in a Perazzi luggage style case. SOLD |
