Champlin Arms .240 Weatherby Magnum Engraved Bolt Action Rifle With Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10 Scope
-For sale is this beautiful custom factory Engraved Champlin Firearms Inc. (Enid, OK) .240 Weatherby Mag. Bolt Action Rifle with a Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10 Variable Scope.
-The rifle features beautiful floral and scroll engravings throughout the nickel-plated action with an intricately engraved Golden Impala’s bust on a black plaque underneath the floor-plate.
-The bolt knob is finely checkered. The bolt is finely jeweled.
-This rifle has a Stainless Steel Barrel with a ported muzzle featuring a gold band around the muzzle and on the barrel by the front of the action. The scope mounts and the pistolgrip cap also follow the engraving motifs of the action.
-The Beautiful Circassian walnut stock is exceptionally figured and features detachable sling swivels and a shadow-line cheekpiece. The detailed stock carving follows the engraved motifs on the metal components, and the checkering is fine and sharp.
-The bore is excellent with perfect rifling and sharp grooves and lands.
-The scope is excellent with crystal clear optics.
-The rifle is mechanically perfect and has a hair-pull trigger.
-The magazine floorplate is signed “D.W.G ‘85”. The LOP is 13 ½”.
-The barrel length is 22”. The overall length is 42 ½”.
-The metal components of this rifle are in 99%+ condition. The rifle weighs 9 LBS 9 OZ. The wood components are in 99%+ condition as well with a few very faint handling marks. The rifle is in overall 99%+ condition. This rifle is practically brand new and would easily retail above $20,000 to reproduce today.
