Description:
What a nice piece of history!  This saddle is generously hand stamped with a circular pattern that is used throughout all the parts of this saddle. If you look very closely you can see a Rose stamped in the center of the pattern. The saddle seat measurements are 14" seat / Fenders 15" long / Wooden Stirrups 5" wide x 6" high.   Condition:  This saddle is in very good condition with a very few minor flaws.  The most noticeable is a light scrape on the cantle trim (see photo).   Ready to ride or display. All the leather tie strings are intact.  There is some very miner surface cracking of the leather but nothing that goes through.  The tree is solid and true.  The fenders are exceptionally well preserved in very fine condition and the decorative tooling is very deep and well-defined.  The wooden stirrups are a miss matched pair and have no cracking.  The fleece is matted but with a saddle blanket very usable.    This saddle is wide in the gullet and would fit an Arabian or Arabian cross.  Or other such horse that might be more narrow in the withers than a Quarter horse.  I find no makers name on this saddle, and it was obviously done by a talented saddler.

SAVVY SAYIN! Admire a big horse. Saddle a small one.
