- Note: This is a very clean, Remington model 1903-A3 in the 3,400,000 serial range. The Remington barrel date is 2-43. The bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. The stock cartouche, "RA", was begun at the 3,400,00 range in February of 1943, which matches the barrel date. Likewise the Ordnance wheel and FJA without a box, are present on the stock. There is a weak S.S.A.A. in a rectangle just to the left of the RA cartouche, possibly indicating San Antonio Arsenal re-work. The front ring of the action has been drilled and tapped. Gun comes with an OD canvas sling.
