- Note: This is a 1950 vintage Winchester model 61. This model lacks the dovetail on the action. The gun retains approximately 90% of blue finish with primary wear on sides of the barrel due to operating the slide as well as edges and high points. Gun retains, likewise, 95%+ of original finish on the walnut forend and buttstock. A part from normal wear and tear to the wood surface from use, there are two smaller impact points in the wood of the forend and another abrasion on the left and right side of the buttstock. The original iron sights and checkered steel buttplate are in place.
